Briefing for Police and Crime Commissioner candidates

Prospective candidates and election agents from across Norfolk are being invited to a briefing session on Monday 22 March, ahead of the 2021 Police and Crime Commissioner Election.

The session will take place online at 4pm.

Police Area Returning Officer, Trevor Holden said:

"This session will cover the timetable for the elections, the nomination process and where to find more information on the Electoral Commission website. We'll also talk about postal votes and will explain the verification and count arrangements. It should prove very useful for people thinking of putting themselves forward for the role of Police and Crime Commissioner."

The Police and Crime Commissioner election takes place on Thursday, 6 May 2021. Anyone wishing to vote in this election must be registered by 19 April 2021. To register to vote, visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
