Learn about important changes to the law and opportunities to expand your business – that’s the offer to landlords at a National Landlords Association (NLA) event on November 6 at Broadland District Council’s offices in Thorpe St Andrew.

The council will be hosting and contributing to the event which will focus on the licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation but also cover opportunities such as help with heating where tenants are in need and new ways of financing high quality HMOs to reach an expanding market.

There will be speakers from the NLA, Broadland District and Norwich City Councils and mortgage broker, NM Finance.

Cllr Roger Foulger, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Wellbeing at Broadland, said:

"We’re delighted to host this event for landlords. A supply of high quality rental housing is extremely important. The rules are changing and landlords need to know what they have to do but we also want to support responsible landlords to supply the warm and comfortable homes people need."

The event will take place in the Council Chamber at our main council offices at Thorpe Lodge, 1 Yarmouth Road, Thorpe St Andrew, NR7 0DU on November 6, from 5:30pm until approximately 8:30pm.
