Norfolk County Council affected by suspected power surge

Due to a suspected power surge, Norfolk County Council website, email and telephones are currently not available.

The public are being asked to only contact Norfolk County Council in an emergency.

County Hall was evacuated as a precautionary measure and the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were called. The building is now all clear and the Fire Service have allowed staff back in.

Norfolk County Council staff are currently working hard to restore systems and will continue to update throughout the day. Updates can be found on the Norfolk County Council Twitter account

Norfolk Record Office is still open for business – so anybody with a wedding or other appointment can still access the building, but please allow extra time.
