Change the size of your bin

If you would like to be notified of bin collection changes in the future, due to either bank holidays or bad weather, please sign up to email alerts at the bottom of this page. We will only use your information for the purposes you have supplied it for.

Large green general waste bins

The standard size 240 litre bins should provide enough space for the waste produced by an average family. We'll only empty one 240 litre green refuse bin from each property on a fortnightly basis. Larger green rubbish bins are only provided where residents meet criteria which justifies the creation of additional waste. This helps to ensure that the amount of waste generated in Broadland is kept to a minimum.

Large grey recycling bins

We provide larger recycling bins but only to households that have large amounts of additional recycling every fortnight. Additional recycling can be placed next to your recycling bin in a cardboard box, but please put glass directly in the wheelie bin.

Brown garden waste bins

You can have as many brown bins as you require - each will cost the same price. You can also share a bin with your neighbour if one of you agrees to pay us, then you can talk with them about any reimbursements you require. Find out more about the brown bin service and charges.

Smaller bins

We don't issue smaller bins than the standard size. If you're having trouble moving or handling your wheeled bin we may be able to assist you with your collection.
