Support for developing your Neighbourhood Plan

Neighbourhood Planning grant scheme

We run a grant scheme to help fund the production of Neighbourhood Plans in the district. The fund is dispersed on a first-come, first-served basis to parish or town councils that meet all of the grant criteria and score highly enough in their applications. Up to £6,000 is available per parish.

The fund is intended as a top-up for those parish or town councils that have already successfully applied to the national Neighbourhood Planning grant scheme operated by Locality, but which still need additional funding to meet their project costs. Locality currently offers up to £9,000 per applicant.

Please note, before applying for a grant from the Broadland Neighbourhood Planning Grant scheme, applicants must have already secured an award from Locality
