Collection of waste electrical items (WEEE)

You can recycle your electrical items at Norfolk County Council's recycling centres.

From 1 April 2018, there will be a charge for taking some items to the tip. Please read the County Council's details regarding these charges

If your items are in good working order, you might consider offering them to charities, friends and family or advertising them on auction websites.

WEEE events

We also run WEEE event days for small unwanted electrical and electronic items and other reusable goods throughout the year. The dates will be advertised on this page when available.

You can bring along most small household items including:

  • computers
  • games consoles
  • music systems
  • vacuum cleaners
  • small kitchen appliances
  • hairdryers
  • telephones
  • flat screen TVs and computer monitors

Unfortunately we cannot accept large items that cannot be easily lifted such as fridges, freezers, washing machines, commercial or industrial items and fluorescent tubes, also non-electrical items.

We will only accept the packaging for reusable WEEE items.
