broadland leaders write to boundary committee on local government review
In a letter requesting a meeting with Boundary Committee Chair, Max Caller, Council Leader Simon Woodbridge reiterated that Broadland Council’s views had not changed. Our view remains that Broadland residents would be best served by retaining and improving the current structures of local government and that the money that would be spent on re-organisation could be better spent providing services to residents. The Council had however reviewed proposals for possible Unitary Council models put forward to the Boundary Committee and the letter set out our concerns on a range of issues relating to these proposals.
