The Development Management and Conservation department deals with a variety of applications including:
- Planning permission
- Listed building consent
- Conservation area consent
- Advertisement consent
- Certificate of lawful use/development
- Storage of hazardous substances consent
- Demolition consent
Please submit and pay for planning applications via the Planning Portal. A Planning Officer is available without appointment (Monday to Friday 8.30am-1pm) for free informal planning advice, alternatively see the Planning Aid website.
Please note: For technical reasons, the Planning Explorer will be unavailable every night from 23.55 to 06.30.
Please use the Council's Planning Explorer to find:
- Specific applications by application number
- Recent decisions
- Recent appeals
- Details of applications going before the next planning committee
- All planning applications
