asylum seekers support
This service is provided by the Refugee Council, and not Broadland District Council.
The Refugee Council is a one stop service providing support, help, information and advice to newly arrived to refugees and asylum seekers under the National Asylum Support Service (NASS). They also work with separated children who arrive alone into the UK and often require a high degree of care and support.
Their service includes:
- Help with integration into the community
- Advice about options for support, housing, benefits and legal advice
- Help with access to health care, employment and education, language lessons and community organisations
