The Development Management and Conservation department deals with a variety of applications including:
- Planning permission
- Listed building consent
- Conservation area consent
- Advertisement consent
- Certificate of lawful use/development
- Storage of hazardous substances consent
- Demolition consent
You can now submit and pay for planning applications using the Planning Portal, which is the UK government's online planning service.
A duty Planning Officer is available without appointment Monday to Friday 8.30am - 1pm offering informal advice, pre-application discussions or even the need to apply for planning permission.
You can use the Council's Planning Explorer to find:
- Specific applications by application number
- Recent decisions
- Recent appeals
- Details of applications going before the next planning committee
- All planning applications
