woman with phone headset ondomestic violence - help and support

Domestic violence is a crime; it is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

finding somewhere to stay

If you need somewhere to stay to escape violence we will try to find you a space at a refuge.

There are several refuges in Norfolk, and many more across the country. Their locations and phone numbers are kept secret.

Refuges provide a safe and supportive environment where you can have a break and make decisions without fear.

Alternatively the Norfolk Sanctuary Scheme can provide physical security measures in the homes of victims of domestic violence where they do not want to move but do not feel safe to stay.

advice and support services

Help and advice for women affected by domestic abuse is available at weekly drop-ins organised by Leeway Women's Aid. An experienced worker will be rotating around the Broadland district offering support. Just drop-in - no appointment needed. Drop-ins will be as follows:

To find details of exactly where and what time the drop-in is held please call Leeway on 0845 241 2171. This is to ensure your safety.
