community grants
The Broadland Life Community Investment Fund is designed to help meet the needs of local groups and organisations through the development and provision of community based projects.
There are three different grants:
- Small Grant Scheme
- Up to £500 available for projects costing no more than £5,000 in total
- Available all year
- Main Grants Scheme
- Up to £20,000 or 25% of costs (whichever is lower) available for projects costing over £2,000
- Open for applications between January and mid-March
- Community Capital Grant
- Funding for projects aiming to create or improve community resources (e.g. sports, social and cultural facilities)
- Up to 20% of costs or £50,000 (whichever is lower) for projects costing more than £5,000
- Available all year - Applications are assessed every two months
- Partnership Fund 2008/09
- Applicants may apply for up to 100% of their costs
- Up to £10,000 available on a first come first serve basis for projects prioritising:
- Supporting young people
- Supporting older people
- Supporting 'Community Champions'
- Supporting the environment
