what is it?
The Electoral Register (also known as the Electoral Roll) is the list of everyone in Broadland who is entitled to vote.
how do I get on the electoral roll?
If you wish to be included on the register, please call Electoral Services on 01603 430424, or email us for further information.
We are open Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 5pm (excluding Bank Holidays).
when is the register updated?
The Register is revised from 1 December each year after completion of an autumn canvass, and updated monthly by rolling registration.
The annual canvas commences in September and every household in the district receives a registration form on which to register all those eligible to vote at elections.
Two editions of the Electoral Register are published: the Full Register and the Edited Register.

The Full Register which is available for use and supplied only for specified purposes:
- Electoral purposes - voting
- Prevention and detection of crime
- Credit application identification checks
This Register is available at Broadland Council Offices for public inspection, but only under supervision, and no person will be able to copy details except by way of hand-written notes.
The Edited Register is available to purchase by anyone for any purpose (including, for example, direct marketing).
This Register will not contain the names of those electors who have exercised their right to opt-out from this version.
