business grants
The Business Support Team provide two grants to businesses in the Broadland district:
The Start-Up Grant is designed to help applicants who are currently not working to start up their own full-time business in the Broadland area. The Grant is for £1,000 and is paid in two instalments of £500. The first is paid on the start of the business; the second on the anniversary of this date (subject to the business still trading in the Broadland area).
The Enterprise Grant is for existing Broadland businesses employing less than 10 full-time employees or part-time equivalents. The grant is available to fund a wide range of activities including the cost of specialised training courses, promotional activities or consultancy fees. The council will pay 50% of the costs to a maximum of £500.
In addition you can use GRANTnet, a free service available to residents, partners and organisations in Broadland. Broadland District Council has purchased the grant finding search tool to empower and assist you in identifying the funding sources available for your projects.
