be safe

For our residents, being safe and secure is very important. Although there are low levels of crime in the Broadland area, there is still work to be done to prevent crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour.

We continue to help prevent crime by using early intervention and prevention techniques including community based restorative approaches and work in partnership with other people and organisations to:

  • Promote a feeling of safety amongst communities in Broadland;
  • Reduce the incidence of crime and anti-social behaviour by targeted action;
  • Protect vulnerable people, particularly young people and those at risk of domestic or relationship abuse.

For further information you can also visit the Norfolk Constabulary website or the Police and Crime Commissioners website.

Alternatively, if you have a local issue you would like to raise and discuss with us and our partners, come along to your local Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel (SNAP) where we will be happy to help you.
