- Free business start-up course for Broadland residents available through Broadland Council Training Services (BCTS)
- Grants for new businesses starting up in Broadland
- Grants for existing Broadland businesses employing less than 10 full-time employees (or part-time equivalents)
- Free business support (mentoring) groups
- Free business listing on the Broadland Online Directory, including news from in and around the district, job opportunities and events
- Free mailings of the Broadland Business Focus magazine
- Local business events
- A free redundancy support package
- Inward investment
- An on-going programme of business visits to give advice and support
- Light industrial start-up units available at estates in Reepham and Acle

Broadland businesses are regularly asked what they want the Business Support Team to do to assist them through a Business Survey mailing. The results are compiled and used to steer future decisions.
Close links have been formed with the Planning Department and businesses can request a visit by a Planning Manager and the Business Support Manager to answer any planning/businesses related questions.
The Aylsham Tourist Information Centre forms part of the Business Support team. They can assist with promoting tourism related businesses and finding accommodation for visitors to the area.
BCTS (Broadland Council Training Services) offers a wide range of courses for business or pleasure, ranging from Information Technology to Customer Care at competitive prices. .jpg)

The Training for Business Growth programme gives Broadland businesses access to a free training needs analysis and in most cases, free training.
